新华水力发电有限公司(简称新华发电)成立于2002年，由中央直接管理的国有重要骨干企业中核集团和水利部共同出资，注册资本金12.75亿元，主要业务覆盖新能源、储能、水电、综合智慧能源四大板块。所属企业包括10家区域公司，4家分公司及311家下辖法人单位，员工总数3500余人。
作为中核集团非核绿色能源的战略实施主体，新华发电深入践行“四个革命、一个合作”能源安全新战略，坚决履行央企政治责任、经济责任和社会责任，加快推进以沙漠、戈壁、荒漠地区为重点的大型风电、光伏发电基地建设，大力开发抽水蓄能及电化学储能、光热、压缩空气储能等新型储能，持续发展水力发电和综合智慧能源，积极推动“水风光储”多能互补和源网荷储一体化发展。

About Xinhua Hydropower Company Limited
Established in 2002, Xinhua Hydro Power Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as Xinhua Power), is jointly invested by China National Nuclear Corporation (hereinafter referred to as CNNC), an important state-owned backbone enterprise directly managed by the central government, and the Ministry of Water Resources. With a registered capital of 1.275 billion yuan, the company's main business covers 4 aspects: new energy, energy storage, hydropower and integrated smart energy. Its subordinate enterprises include 10 regional companies, 4 branches and more than 311 project legal entities, with a total of 3,500 employees.
As the main body of the implementation of non-nuclear green energy of CNNC, Xinhua Power has deeply implemented the new energy security strategy of "Four Revolutions and One Cooperation", and resolutely fulfilled the political, economic and social responsibilities of central enterprises. Up to now, the total assets of Xinhua Power have exceeded 138.526 billion yuan, the grid-connected installed capacity has exceeded15.2839GW, the installed capacity under construction has exceeded 20.2468GW, the annual power supply of the grid has exceeded 2.2 billion kW•h, the installed capacity of new energy in development has exceeded 20 GW, and the scale of reserved pumped storage and solar thermal energy projects ranks among the first echelons of the industry.
